Beginning at 1:30 pm on Saturday the 10th of March 2012, Telecom technicians will began a series of emergency upgrades to telephone equipment at the Shadow Lane campus. These upgrades are required to prevent total loss of phone service at Shadow Lane, and Telecom apologizes for any inconvenience to UNLV customers.
The work will last for approximately 2 hours, and customers at Shadow Lane can expect intermittent loss of dial tone during this time that will impact both incoming and outgoing calls.
The work will only impact customers at Shadow Lane using Nortel digital telephones or analog telephones, and it will not impact those customers using Cisco telephones.
The work will have no impact to customers on the main UNLV campus.
